Patient Advocacy Services
Peace of Mind Life Services, LLC (POMLS) provides a wide range of patient advocacy services to our clients. A client may be a patient, family member, guardian, or caregiver. We contract directly with the client on an hourly basis. Blocks of time are available and a discount structure is applied depending on quantity. By purchasing a block of time, clients lock-in a discounted hourly rate and if time is remaining on the contract at the end of the fulfillment of services, the remainder will be refunded. If additional time is required and the next level of discounting is reached, the second discount level will be applied to the entire contract resulting in a lower hourly rate overall.

Shared Decision Making (SDM)
Shared Decision Making or SDM is a process originally utilized in Europe and Canada. It is a formal approach to medical decision-making which helps you evaluate personal goals, values and priorities while making decisions about healthcare diagnoses and treatment plans. Instead of relying on doctors to tell you what you must do, it puts the client in charge of the decision-making.
We facilitate SDM with you by providing guidance through the SDM process and information which enables logical decision-making based on facts without prejudice.
